52 books in a year.

okay, so i just now realized why jessica does 52 books in a year. there are 52 weeks in a year. yeah, i am awful at math... and equations? bad excuse! so i have upped the ante. i will attempt to read 52 books this coming year--one for each week. i may fudge, however, and start my year early.

along with reading all of these books, i plan to journal (if not publically, then for myself) about how each book affected me, and my thoughts of it. i hope, at the end of several years, to have a wonderful collection of thoughts and references.

i like to read most all types of books. i am big on the classics. i love stories that move me, make me angry, or give me a completely new perspective on something i would never have had a chance to come into contact with in my own life. i prefer fiction over non-fiction--but am willing to pick up a good non-fiction. i enjoy historical fiction. i like sci-fi--but mostly in a star trek way. i am open for nearly everything. give it to me!!!
